VPS data is retained for six days after service termination, then permanently deleted. This also applies when you request cancellation with immediate effect.- Immediate cancellation: The VPS stops when it is terminated. Its data remains stored during the six-day retention period.
- End-of-term cancellation: The VPS continues running until its due date. The retention period starts when the service terminates on that date, not when you submit the cancellation request.
- Recovery or reactivation: Contact support promptly to request recovery or reactivation before permanent deletion. After deletion, the data cannot be recovered.
- Invoice status: Cancelling an invoice, or removing a VPS’s charges from a combined invoice, is a billing action. It does not establish whether the VPS data has been deleted.
- Customer responsibility: Back up your data before requesting cancellation. The retention period is not a substitute for maintaining your own backups.

QCOW2 image backup: When you request a downloadable
.qcow2image backup of your VPS, we provide a 30-day window to download and store your backup. - Service fee: We charge a fee of EUR 25 for generating the backup.
- Download link: We will provide a secure, password-protected download link, valid for 30 days. After this period, the backup will be automatically deleted for security and privacy reasons.
- Recommendation: We recommend that you manage your machines and regularly back up your server data.
