We cannot resend emails

If you cannot find the original VPS deployment email, EDIS Global cannot resend that message or recover the initial password.
EDIS Global generates VPS passwords during deployment and does not retain them in a recoverable form in its management or support systems. You can regain access by reinstalling the VPS and selecting a new password.

Before you reinstall

  1. Check your spam, junk, and quarantine folders for an email from support@edisglobal.com.
  2. Make sure you are checking the email address registered to your EDIS Global account.
  3. Log in to the VPS Management Portal and confirm that the VPS appears under Services and its status is Active.
If the VPS is missing from your account or is still being provisioned, do not reinstall it. Contact our support team so we can check the service status.

Restore access to your VPS

Reinstalling permanently deletes the operating system, configuration, and all data currently stored on the VPS. Continue only if there is no data you need to preserve.
1

Open your VPS

In the VPS Management Portal, open Services and select the affected VPS.
2

Start the reinstallation

Open the operating-system installation or reinstallation option.
3

Select an operating system and password

Select Linux or Windows and enter a strong new password when prompted.
4

Complete the installation

Start the installation and wait for the VPS to finish provisioning before attempting to connect.
5

Connect with your new password

EDIS Global does not send a new credentials email after a reinstallation. Use the password you selected during setup and store it securely in a password manager.

Why the original password cannot be recovered

EDIS Global generates the initial password during VPS deployment and configures it directly on the server. EDIS Global does not retain a recoverable copy in its management or support systems, so our team cannot retrieve or resend it later. This reduces the risk of a VPS password being disclosed through those systems. If the initial password is unavailable, reinstalling the VPS and selecting a new password is the supported way to regain access.
