One Traffic Pool. One Global Price.

Running out of traffic doesn’t have to interrupt your services. The EDIS Global Traffic Pool lets you purchase traffic once and assign it to any VPS whenever needed. Unused traffic stays in your pool forever. Prefer a hands-off approach? Enable Auto-Hydration and your VPS will automatically receive additional traffic from your Traffic Pool when it reaches 99% consumption. Simply choose the refill size—from 100 GB to 1 TB —and we’ll take care of the rest. 🌍 No traffic zones. Just one global price for all 50 EDIS locations.

Why you’ll love your traffic pool

  • ✅ You are in complete control of the process of allocating and managing traffic.
  • ✅ Maintain optimal functioning for your services.
  • ✅ Take advantage of lowest price traffic rates (starting from EUR 6 /TB)
  • ✅ Traffic in the pool never expires.
  • ✅ Manually assign traffic to any KVM in your account which is running low on traffic.
  • ✅ Automatic refill option individually configurable for every VPS (“Auto Hydration”)
  • ✅ One global price

Traffic pool starter credit

Starting November 19, 2025, every newly purchased VPS includes 100 GB of complimentary traffic. EDIS Global automatically adds +100 GB to your Traffic Pool account for each new VPS you order. This starter credit lets you explore how the Traffic Pool works — and gives you a safety buffer if you ever run low on traffic. Your 100 GB starter credit:
  • Never expires while stored in your Traffic Pool.
  • ✅ Can be assigned to any VPS in your account.
  • ✅ Works with both manual and Auto-Hydration.
  • ✅ Can be combined with additional Traffic Pool purchases at any time.

How to Get Started with the EDIS Traffic Pool

🛒 Purchase Traffic

Choose the amount of traffic you need, from 1 TB to 10 PB. Larger bundles offer a lower price per TB.

📌 Assign Traffic

Once your purchase is complete, open the Traffic Information window of your VPS and assign traffic from your pool in 100 GB, 500 GB, 1 TB, or 10 TB increments.

⚙️ Enable Auto-Hydration

Enable Auto-Hydration to automatically assign additional traffic from your Traffic Pool when your VPS reaches 99% of its currently assigned traffic allowance (monthly plan traffic plus any assigned Traffic Pool traffic).

Traffic pool in the traffic information window

In the Traffic Information window, you can monitor and manage your traffic pool allocation. This section provides a snapshot of your current traffic usage and remaining balance, with options for manual or automatic top-ups to ensure uninterrupted service. Learn about Traffic Pool

A. Traffic Pool Size & Top-Up Link: Shows your current pool balance, with a “top up” option to add traffic when needed. B. Manual Hydration: Manually allocate +100GB, +500GB, or +1TB to your VPS as required. C. Auto Hydration: Automatically top up your traffic pool with 100GB, 200GB, 300GB, or 500GB when usage reaches 99%, ensuring uninterrupted service. Auto top-up can be enabled or disabled at any time. You can configure the top-up size individually for each VPS through the VPS Management Portal or API. For custom monitoring, use our _callback feature_ via the Management REST API to trigger notifications when traffic reaches a defined threshold.

Traffic pool accounting balance sheet

The table below (demo data) works like a bank account statement. Every traffic transaction is recorded chronologically, including traffic purchases, complimentary starter credits, traffic assigned to VPS instances, and the resulting traffic pool balance after each transaction.

How to Read the Balance Sheet

Date/Time – When the transaction occurred.
Source: Indicates what caused the transaction, such as a VPS consuming traffic, a traffic pool top-up, or received complimentary starter credit.
Change: The amount of traffic added to (+) or deducted from (−) your traffic pool.
New Balance: The updated traffic balance after the transaction.
The newest transactions appear at the top. The traffic pool is shared across all VPS instances in your account, providing a complete history of all traffic purchases, credits, and allocations.

Email notification at 20% pool traffic remaining

We’ve implemented an automatic email notification to help you stay ahead of traffic exhaustion. After each top-up, your traffic pool is considered 100% full. Once 80% of that traffic has been assigned, you will receive an email letting you know that only 20% remains. This early alert gives you time to top up your pool and avoid service interruptions.
