Upgrading your plan is the cheapest option to add more traffic to your tier.

YOU decide if you resize your partition manually after the upgrade or if you leave it the way it is. The partition will be provisioned to th new plans' specs only if you decide to reinstall. A reinstall WIPES ALL YOUR DATA.

EDIS does not touch or resize your partition when you upgrade your plan. Upgrading adds more RAM, additional CPU cores, changes the size of your virtual drive, and increases the monthly traffic commitment. 

You can manually resize your partition after the upgrade if you choose to do so. However, the partition will only be provisioned to the new plan's specs if you decide to reinstall, which will wipe all your data. Upgrading your plan is the cheapest option to add more traffic to your tier.
