GET /api/v1/ping · POST /api/v1/ping Runs one ICMP echo request with a one-second probe timeout. Use this endpoint for a quick reachability and latency observation. Use detailed probes for four-packet ping or route diagnostics.

Parameters

For GET, send query parameters. For POST, send JSON with no query string.
IPv6 example:

Response

Illustrative response; IDs, timestamps, timing and raw output vary:
status: "no_reply" with summary.received: 0 means no echo reply arrived during this observation. ICMP may be filtered even when TCP services work. Timing fields can be absent when no reply is available. One packet does not establish a reliable long-term packet-loss rate. The one-second probe timeout is not an end-to-end HTTP latency guarantee: DNS resolution and network transit add time. See response fields and interpretation.

Rate limits

600 requests per minute and 16 concurrent requests per client, per regional node. GET and POST share this allowance. Read shared-IP limits, global capacity and retry handling.
