# EDIS Global Partner Starter Pack

This document provides a **complete technical and commercial overview** of EDIS Global for partners, resellers, and integrators. All information below reflects how EDIS Global operates in production today.

EDIS Global operates its own VPS infrastructure across multiple global locations. EDIS Global provisions and manages all services directly.

EDIS Global operates VPS infrastructure in **50+ locations worldwide**.

Each location exposes a **machine-readable JSON data feed** containing:

* Country and City
* Available plans
* Pricing
* CPU type
* Disk technology
* Network uplinks
* Traffic allocation
* URL on our website
* Classification: entry-level, standard-vps, high-performance plans, high traffic plans
* Data Centre address

## Network & traffic model

### Included bandwidth (per VPS)

Each VPS plan includes a **defined amount of monthly bandwidth**, depending on:

* Location
* Plan tier

You can **upgrade products at any time**.

Traffic allowances measure **incoming plus outgoing traffic**. For example, a VPN that receives and forwards 100 GB uses approximately 200 GB of allowance, plus overhead. See [traffic accounting](/faq/traffic-bandwidth/traffic-stats-refill-explained).

Connectivity is shared between VPS instances. Host uplink speed is not a dedicated per-VPS throughput commitment. Dedicated Internet access and custom committed-bandwidth arrangements are not available for VPS deployments; discuss large rollout quantities and timing before ordering.

### Traffic pool model (additional bandwidth)

In addition to per‑VPS included bandwidth, EDIS Global offers a **Traffic Pool** system:

* Shared traffic pool across all services in your account
* Traffic can be assigned manually or automatically
* Designed for high‑consumption or burst workloads
* Just one global price across all 50 EDIS locations.
* Unassigned Pool Traffic does not expire; unused traffic already assigned to a VPS expires at the next monthly refill for that VPS

#### Traffic assignment modes

**Manual Hydration**

* Portal quick-assignment buttons: **+100 GB**, **+500 GB**, **+1 TB**, and **+10 TB**
* The selected amount is deducted from the shared Pool and added to the current allowance of that VPS

**Auto‑Hydration**

* Selectable per-VPS increments: **100 GB**, **200 GB**, **300 GB**, or **500 GB**
* Triggered when a VPS reaches **99%** of its current traffic allowance
* Uses the existing Pool balance and does not purchase traffic automatically
* Requires enough Pool Traffic to cover the selected increment

## Provisioning

* **Provisioning:** Starts near-real-time after payment confirmation.
* **Linux installation:** Normally another 3–5 minutes, including updates from distribution mirrors. Application configuration and custom image transfers add time.
* **Reinstallations:** Self‑service, no cost
* **Upgrades:** Instant ⚡️ - IP does not change, no reinstall required

### Backup responsibility

🛡 **Customers are solely responsible for maintaining backups** of their servers and all stored data.

EDIS Global strongly recommends implementing **regular, scheduled backups** to ensure data safety and recoverability.

## IP addresses

* Additional IPv4: **€5 / IP**
* Random IP change: **€5 (NRC)**
* Bespoke IP change: **€10 (NRC)**

Every VPS includes its own **/64-equivalent IPv6 allocation**. This is not a separately routed `/64`: addresses use a `/48` prefix length to reach the location-specific gateway, and up to 20 stable IPv6 addresses may be configured simultaneously.

## Billing

### Billing cycles

* Monthly
* Quarterly
* Semi‑annual
* Annual (1 month free)

Hourly billing is **not** available.

### Payment methods

* Credit Card
* PayPal
* Cryptocurrency
* Apple Pay, Google Pay and Alipay
* SEPA / ACH Direct Debit (by invitation only)
* SEPA / SWIFT bank transfer (manually processed; account-credit top-ups of at least EUR 250)

<Warning>
  Bank transfers are not suitable for recurring monthly payments, urgent renewals or immediate provisioning. Direct payment of an invoice by bank transfer requires prior agreement and is reserved for emergencies when no automated payment method is available.

  Sending a transfer does not mark an invoice as paid. Until our accounting team has received, identified and manually assigned it, the normal non-payment workflow continues and can lead to service suspension, termination and permanent data deletion.

The Order API is available after registration, subject to normal account verification, using Client Portal email and password. Management API access requires one VPS and uses a session created with email and password. Control-panel 2FA does not require an additional code for API requests.

Custom Cloud-Init user data is supported on reinstall, not in the initial order.
