# Manage VPS cancellation requests

> Withdraw a VPS cancellation before server deletion, up to six days after termination. Use the EDIS Global portal and check re-issued renewal invoices.

Changed your mind and want to keep your VPS? You can **withdraw a cancellation request as long as the server has not been deleted**. This includes the period after termination, for up to **six days after the termination date**. This applies to both **immediate** and **end-of-term** cancellations. Open **Manage Cancellations** in the VPS Management Portal to revoke the request or restore the VPS.

<Tip>
  **Quick route:** [Portal Home](https://manage.edisglobal.com/clientarea.php) → **VPS Cancellation Requests** → **Manage Cancellations** → **Revoke Cancellation**.
</Tip>

## How long can I withdraw a cancellation?

**Deletion is the cutoff, not termination.** You can withdraw the request before the VPS is permanently deleted. The retention window lasts up to **six days after the actual termination date**, not six days after you submitted the cancellation request.

* **End-of-term cancellation:** The VPS terminates on its due date. The six-day window starts on that termination date.
* **Immediate cancellation:** The VPS terminates immediately. The six-day window starts then.

Act before deletion: once the server has been permanently deleted, withdrawal and data recovery are no longer possible.

## Find an outstanding cancellation request

An individual VPS with a cancellation request displays this notice at the top of its **Manage Product** page:

> There is an outstanding cancellation request for this product/service

This means a cancellation request is recorded for that service. An **Active** status alone does not mean that a scheduled cancellation has been removed.

<Frame caption="The warning appears at the top of the individual service page.">
  <img src="https://mintcdn.com/edisglobal-b1e34a56/60io13r3Pzk24YRj/images/cancellation-service-warning.png?fit=max&auto=format&n=60io13r3Pzk24YRj&q=85&s=e3243058c3386c1b34c42fea1e0172bc" alt="Manage Product page with the outstanding cancellation request warning highlighted." width="2067" height="761" data-path="images/cancellation-service-warning.png" />
</Frame>

To manage the request, click **Home** in the portal navigation to return to the main dashboard.

## Open Manage Cancellations

On the main dashboard, find **VPS Cancellation Requests** and click **Manage Cancellations**. The banner shows how many VPS cancellations can still be revoked or recovered.

<Frame caption="On the main dashboard, click Manage Cancellations. Account details and counts are hidden.">

</Frame>

You can also open the [Manage VPS cancellations page directly](https://manage.edisglobal.com/index.php?m=vpsrecovery) after signing in.

## Revoke a scheduled end-of-term cancellation

1. Find the VPS in the list. If needed, enter its **service ID, hostname or IP** in the search field and click **Search**.
2. Check the **Service**, **IP / Hostname**, **Cancellation**, **Current Status** and **Deadline / Due Date** columns to make sure you have found the correct VPS. The **Cancellation** column shows a scheduled end-of-term request as **End of Billing Period**.
3. Click the green **Revoke Cancellation** button in that VPS's row.
4. Confirm the prompt: **“Keep this VPS and revoke its end-of-period cancellation request?”** Only confirm if you want to keep the VPS.

<Frame caption="Click Revoke Cancellation for the correct VPS. The service ID and IP address shown here are fictional; dates are hidden.">
  <img src="https://mintcdn.com/edisglobal-b1e34a56/60io13r3Pzk24YRj/images/cancellation-revoke-anonymized.png?fit=max&auto=format&n=60io13r3Pzk24YRj&q=85&s=4e0fcea59234fb805bcc365c124a741c" alt="Manage VPS cancellations table with a scheduled end-of-billing-period cancellation and the Revoke Cancellation button highlighted." width="2046" height="768" data-path="images/cancellation-revoke-anonymized.png" />
</Frame>

Revoking withdraws the scheduled cancellation request so the VPS is no longer scheduled to terminate because of that request. Review the result in the portal, then reopen the VPS's **Manage Product** page to check that the outstanding-cancellation warning has cleared.

<Warning>
  **Revoking a cancellation does not reactivate a suspended VPS.** If the service is suspended for non-payment, pay its outstanding renewal invoice to restore service.
</Warning>

<Note>
  Revoking a cancellation request makes that VPS ineligible for a refund under the [24-hour cancellation and refund policy](/faq/billing-lifecycle/cancellation-and-refund-policy).
</Note>

## If the VPS has already been terminated

You can still withdraw an **immediate or end-of-term cancellation** while the server has not been deleted, for up to **six days after termination**.

Open **Manage VPS cancellations**, find the VPS and follow the available recovery action. If the VPS is not listed or no suitable action is available, [contact support](https://www.edisglobal.com/contact) promptly, before deletion.

## Check your re-issued renewal invoices

When you withdraw a cancellation, **EDIS Global re-issues renewal invoices to ensure correct renewal and continuation of the service**.

Open **Billing → My Invoices** in the portal and check your invoices folder or billing email for the re-issued invoice. Review its amount, due date and payment status, and pay any amount due. Do not rely on an earlier invoice marked **Cancelled**.

If you are unsure which invoice to pay or whether renewal is in order, [ask our support team](https://www.edisglobal.com/contact). See [How to find and download your invoices](/faq/billing-lifecycle/find-and-download-invoices) for help locating them.

## Want to cancel a VPS instead?

Follow [Cancel a VPS](/faq/billing-lifecycle/cancel-a-service) to submit a new cancellation request and understand the immediate and end-of-term options.
